Environmental Education and Education for Sustainable Devleopment are the main tenets of GE in Estonian curricula.
The key curriculum body, as of 1 August 2020, is a new government agency called Harno (Education and Youth Authority). This joint institution was established from Foundation Innove, Foundation Archimedes, Information Technology Foundation for Education and Estonian Youth Work Center.
